The scarf came off pretty easily, although I did have to scrape and sand the glue once I got it off.

Thanks for the comments. The "real life" look is what I was going for. I threw the cue stick and eight ball in there because "Cyke" is known to have a great talent for the bank shot. HaHa

Gambit would have also been subject to more "paint rub". With this custom, I don't have to worry about that.

That base really works for him, no doubt who it is even without the more traditional skullcap and visor. Nice!

It was funny reading through your description, I wanted one of these to do a Gambit too, but looking at it at the store a week ago, I thought about doing a cyke instead too, only I thought more along the lines of the Wolverine and the X Men version of him. I have to say though, I really like your original take on him. Well done! I love your take on the visor for sure!

I thought about doing the "hooded mask" like in "Wolverine and the X-men", but I thought it would be more realistic to go without it. (Besides its more fun to sculpt hair)

I have one of the Hasbro Legends cyke tore up, and the head is waiting for a home, and the more I see this, the more it makes me think I should get around to it!
