With so many Arkham Crocs, I wanted to make Killer Croc in his more crocodile like form like when he got kicked around by Osiris. In fact, I almost made a Sobek. Anyone who has searched the internet for custom figures has probably seen this recipe used for a different character. I added more articulation, used different parts from my fodder, and sculpted/modded a ton of him.
The base used was a DCD Rogues Gallery Killer Croc. Luckily I had bought him for a few bucks back before the price blew up. I cut the torso just below the waist and used plastic epoxy to attach a broken Sota SF Blanka lower torso and legs I had lying around.. Then cut Blanka and Crocs legs mid thigh. I cut off and dremeled an early ML Thing figures hip joint and pinned then epoxy glued that to Blankas thigh. A peg hole was dremed in Crocs thigh to fit the peg for a mid thigh swivel and modded the knees to stand straighter. I removed Things ankle rocker and heated then cut off Crocs feet. The feet and ankles were dremeled to accept the new ankle rocker. Then I removed Crocs hands cut off the pegs and dremeled them out at the wrists on both ends. I used a shaved down UFC figures shoulder for a double ball jointed wrist. The head and tail I was lucky to find at Hobby Lobby. It's a Papo Spinosaurus. I chopped off the head and tail. Hollowed out the neck and inserted a ball jointed shoulder from some random figure. The biceps, forearms, neck, lower torso, thighs, ankles, wrists, and hands are re-sculpted either to fit in, cover, or bulk up. He can now do some very dynamic posing.
