This was kinda a joke at first, then became one of the villains to my boozing mutants in the AoA...I figured we wouldn't warrant a big timer like Rictor or any of the Horsemen themselves, but surely more than just Infinites...so here's one of the enemies of IntoXicated (figured the team needed some kinda name.)He's repaint and a slight bit of trimming and sculpting. Backstory : When Apocalypse took over and his forces began to 'cleanse' the USA, prisons were one of the easiest sources of experiment subjects(willing or not) for the Dark Beast and Sinister. One such was a captured soldier of fortune named Emil Blonsky. McCoy used Blonsky as a base palate for gene therapy and chemical restructuring experiments. After a few weeks of rejected DNA combinations, countless organ transplants, and chemical superdoses, McCoy noticed Blonsky's skin turning a putrid color, and his body temperature cooling. This encouraged the Dark Beast to begin focusing exclusively on reptilian DNA and steroid and growth hormone cocktails, until Blonsky grew into the creature he is today. His sobriquet came from Alex Summers' shocked reaction, bluring out "What in the High Lord's name is THAT Abomination?" McCoy decided to keep the name, as a kind of joke. Unfortunately, Blonsky's intelligence dwindled after all the experiments, and thus he could not be used as a dependable Hound or an independent agent. McCoy kept his Abomination and a number of other 'valuable failures' as an insurance policy or expendable option. Please wait... |
