The LMD that got away; Max Fury. I'm a big fan of the new Secret Avengers comic and I really like the new character they've introduced, Max Fury. The first thing I thought of when I saw the cover to issue #5 was the X-Men Classics Magneto concept figure.
I knew I had to try to convert my spare Magneto into Max. Overall I am quite pleased with how he turned out.

Painting the black dragons proved to be a lot easier than painting the yellow ones. I resculpted the thighs and parts of his gauntlets. The part above his loin cloth was originally a piece that was on Magneto's arm-mounted gun thingie.
