It's based on a drawing I did last year a sort of what if Capt became a GR. So I got this figure at the Disney store and popped off the head modifying it. Then I repainted his body to match the image, sculpted the head out of clay and painted it. I added crystals to both heads so they're eyes have a glowing effect and also added gel pieces to the skull, and the neck.
The studded cuffs are from some bratz boys figures and worked well with this. The chain I bought at hobby lobby then hand painted it to look like old chain, it's actually pretty light so I was able to place it on the shield and then the other strand around his torso and arm without weighing down the whole figure.
The spikes on the shield and his shoulders is actually puffy t-shirt paint which worked out pretty good.
The final part was to use a brush and some watered down paint to create blood splatters on the shield and chest. Then I repackaged the figure and modified the front of the box and included my artwork in the foreground of the figure. :-)
