I've wanted M'gan for my Teen Titans collection for a longtime now but kept putting off assuming Mattel would eventually get to her. But I don't like the stealth suit version they're offering, and I wanted her to look more like a DCUC figure and less like a Young Justice figure.

So I used the Supergirl body just about everyone that's made her has used. I swapped out the lower-legs for Cheetah's, and the lower arms came from Stargirl (the Supergirl gloves unlike just about every other DCUC female figure I've seen have the pegs on the hands not the forearm, so switching hands meant switching lower arms--not fun!). The boot and glove cuffs are sculpted on. The gloves are from a DCUC Raven figure to give her more dynamic look for someone with mental powers as opposed to the closed fists Supergirl had. The cape was trimmed down from an Hourman figure which is more accurate to her comic appearance than the over the shoulder cape she wears on YJ. Her head is Mary Batsons because I thought the smile was fitting, but I sanded down her chubby chipmunk cheeks and jawline. The hair was modified from a Marvel Legends Sue Storm figure. At first it fell over the shoulder but didn't quite sit right with the cape, so I trimmed it back some. The belt was shortened from a Martian Manhunter belt to give her that authentic look all the marians wear these days.

This was the first time I painted eyes on a six-inch figure as I've been mostly lucky so far with the eyes matching with the customs I want to do, but here I needed to paint them. Not a fun experience and not something I'll be aiming to do again anytime soon. You guys that paint eyes are truly amazing, but my meaty paws just don't make things easy with minute details like that.

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with her, especially now that I don't need to overpay for the Mattel figure that I wouldn't have really been satisfied with anyway. Hope you guys like her.
