At the suggestion of firefly, I was able to scrounge a few more sets of wings. Firefly had suggested that I try the 6 and 4 winged angels known as the Seraphim and Cheribim respectively. Today I present my take on the Seraphim. Seraphim means burning ones, so I tried to convey flame through multiple layers of different dry brush colors, after which I gave the wings my traditional gold wash. The body is a Marvel Select Thor. The head is a Marvel Legends Colossus. The top set of wings, (with the bend) comes from an old school X-Men first class Angel figure. Next set of wings,(pointing up) came from a Marvel Legends Archangel. Bottom set of wings, (pointing down)comes from a classic X-Men Archagel. Knee pads are from a Marvel Legends Lord of Asgard Thor. I through a Masters of the universe sword in there because it looked like he needed one. The Seraphim are the angels that are the caretakers of God's throne room. As of yet, I have no name for this angel, so I am hoping for some GOOD suggestions from my fellow realmers. I have enough wings to do one of the Cherubim, and then maybe a female, then I'm out of wings again. This has been by far my most expensive angel to date, but worth every penny. Thanks to everyone for looking, and thanks again to firefly for the suggestion. Blessings to you all! P.S. After speaking with a Hebrew Professor, I decided to go with Ha-Shomer which is Hebrew for The Guardian. ![]() |

Keep an eye out for the Cherubim (4 wings)that will be soon in coming.
Sometimes I can get away with just Hot glue.
Otherwise I will trow a couple of screws in with the glue for strength.
The additional wings really work, awesome job!! As for names maybe "Tav" its the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet.
Rogue
Well, it was worth the wait!!!
This is one gorgeous work-of-art, brother!!!
How about the name:
Metatron (or Mattatron)?
I dig some digging and found this name from an archangel in Judaism. He's Enoch, ancestor of Noah. Pretty cool!
