Not a terribly hard custom but I think I finally have a definitive Batman. Hardest part was dremmeling the right sized holes for the gaunlets to fit okay. Had to switch the gaunlets b/c Batman has to be able to hold stuff. Broke my heart to tear apart the 52 Batman for the cape but that figure's paint & detail doesn't measure up to the Select Sculpt Batman.

Nice kitbash of Batmans there. that cape works really well. That's the Zipline belt too, huh? That's my fave. Really nice figure. Odd that everyone has to make one like this and Mattel has never really made a definitive version.

Thanks for your comments! That belt actually came with the figure though its the same sculpt as the Zipline BM's. I used the gray/black version as the base figure not the earlier blue/grey that had a really cool detailed but kind of bulky belt. And it is very frustrating that Mattel has yet to release a slam dunk version of their most popular character.

Don't take it negatively, mate. What I'm saying is I wish I could see more pictures of him - standing up as well because I like your work so much that it pains me to see him with knees bent on all three pictures. It's a simple custom but it's genius! If you have posted him on other sites, with different poses, please let me know cause I wanna see MORE of your work. To me THIS is the pinnacle of a definitive Batman imho.

This is one great concept! But would've been a lot better had you put pictures of him standing up to see proportions and different angles. Otherwise it's simple but genius!
