Description -

Despite being a nearly 8foot tall robot - Joe is the best robotic Assassin in the galaxy, with sound suppression and cloak technology thats as cutting edge as his custom made guns.
Hes also able to reduce his size considerably by retracting his limbs and torso.

An important Member of the ABC WARRIORS - a crack robot commando team who are sent in when Human soldiers can't do the job - Joe, Like the rest of his team mates, is built to survive Atomic. Bacterial. and Chemical (ABC) Warfare.

He is a sniper without equal. Joe has rebuilt himself many times to give himself new looks over the years, but one thing that has been consistent is his narcissism - the one thing he truly loves in the universe is himself. he prides himself on his outward image of ice cold professionalism and cool dress sense.

Joe's talents saw him sent into Volgograd to assassinate Volgan general Volkhan, and afterwards saw him assigned to the Mars mission.
After Mars, Pineapples wound up working as a police instructor in London and once had to temporarily neutralise a rampaging Hammerstein who thought he was still fighting the Volgan War.

His career with the police continued, and on the free robot planet of Mekka he worked as an undercover officer. At some point he developed a hatred of humans ("meatheads") and was eventually put on the black list for pursuing human criminals with too much zeal.

Joe has four arrows pointing to his "heart" Area where he keeps a chest locker..
Each arrow bears a word that makes up the slogan "TOO COOL TO KILL"
Howvere he hides a dark secret in his chest locker - the mystery item is a cryogenically frozen human heart:
He carries it in a desperate bid to feel, so he could enjoy killing as humans do.
For that reason he hates humans for theyre ability to feel.

Being the complete Marvel heathen I am I've never heard of the guy BUT
a) he looks bob-on the ref: pic from sculpt to scale to colour - everfink
b) he also looks like something from X-Men TAS when Cable is describing his future... only blue. (Random, but true)

LOL Aussie cops can be tough too especially in SciFi movies - look at the original Mad Max
Over 10 years ago mate I applied for 2000AD mate and it was artist and writer I was applying for -
Got a future shock story I did picked up to be published by them, got a menial flatrate payment - no royalties and when the directorial musical chairs happened between editors - the bloody thing got shelved or lost and wound up not being published
still I did get paid for it
Computer game developer Rebellion who run 2000AD seem to be a bit more together - so I'll give it another try soon
I have my own character series coming out I'm self publishing - DEADEYE SAMURAI - I'm also making a toyline from it
I'd like to hear more about your "cosmic epic" sounds cool
Pm me dude

Yup mate -
Read Tankgirl and know Brett Ewins and Steve Dillon who created Deadline - which is the comics anthology magazine that tankgirl came from
Never met Jamie Hewlett tho who created Tank Girl - he now does designs and cartoon animations for pop group Gorillaz
Know a lot of the 2000AD artists personally tho - as I tried to break into the comicsscene back then before I lost my sight
Yeah the OZ storyline in Judge Dredd is one of the best of the golden era - shows you how laid back OZ judges are compared to the ANAL Dredd
just like real coppers, if you watched COPS back to back with the aussie version THE FORCE it's exactly like that. US cops have their guns out and are screaming "DROP THE CIGARETTE NOW!!!"; where aussie cops have their hands on their hips sayin "Alright mate, just finish yur durrie and we'll go down to the station." how long ago did you try the comic scene? as an artist I'm guessing? I'm a writer myself and currently writing a cosmic epic that will end out weighing more than me if it ever gets published.

Think this has already been gone over right at the start of this thread if you read back
but to surmise - I havent got the sight to paint that small - its photoshopped
Which is allowed obviously
the figure constructions 100% real - thats the important thing - please make a comment about that

Thanks man
I actually was going to "pump up his arms and chest" but that would make him as bulky as the team leader
HAMMERSTEIN - whos getting made now
And Joe's all about sleek moves, speed and accuracy - while Hammerstein (or Ham) is a robotic HULK 9foot tall
So I wanted to make Joe a lil skinnier - sleeker - more like the black n white simon bisley pic up above the colored Kevin Walker painting
but I combined both those seminal ABC warrior artists takes on Joe into my own design

the likeness is incredible
This is great brother
even crazier if you pumped up his arms and chest
but then I couldn't give your custom a score 10 so that is not cool
hehehehhehheeheheheh
crazy good bro

It is technically allowed in the rules you can add some photoshop to your figure(s) to enhance them -
as long as you havent just photoshopped a piece together totally - and no model actually exists
adding photoshopped decals and stuff on to a model when its clear the comic version has those details adds to figure
Not everyone has the sight or steady enough hand to paint these on with a brush
And the un-photoshopped pics and WIP of its construction - similar to a certain ghostrider 2099 figure here couldnt be included in time due to PC failure and time constraints
But thanks anyway for the props

I had to add too, that you should get props for including a reference picture of what the character looks like, because seeing how the figure looks like it's supposed to makes me really like it, and if there hadn't been a reference picture there, I would have no idea how it was supposed to look or anything and not knowing the character at all, I might have given it a 4 instead of a 5.

It's really great because of the head and the parts aren't recognizable, so it looks very original, but it does look a bit weird with the photoshop-added symbols on his chest and gun. I think it would have been better without those, but the figure is superb.
