Third figure for the day is an "early-years" Steve Rogers.

IMHO, Cap is the REAL, "Real American Hero". GIJoe is mixed-nationalities.... and Superman is not even human :D.

This is our second crack on the character, with our first using Guile entirely including the head. This one has a DCD Superboy's made a bit older-looking, but still "youthful". Still used Guile from the neck-down and added some sculpted details. Usual paintjob wrapped him up.

Sweet concept, and the face is perfect.
After the Avengers and Cap movies, it made me think. Guys who sign up are young 18-25, it would make sense cap would look youthful. He would of been a young man when he was administered with the serum, and the serum helps keep him healthy and youthful as well, not to mention he stayed the same age due to being a cap-cicle. Anywho, that's why this concept works well with me.

I have a few casts of that Superboy head, I never even thought about using it for Cap. Looks great! I wish Marvel would have gone a similar route to this with Cap's new redesign. Simple but very effective. Instead, they overdid it, and made it way too busy.

Figures like this one are the reason you are my favourite customizer.
