Hey guys! More monster than man, Mr. Hyde is the twisted alter ego of the brilliant scientist Dr. Jekyll. After going on a brutal killing spree, he will fight Van Helsing in an epic battle to the death. Mr. Hyde is made from some wrestler that I found at H-E-B. I sanded off his leotard (it was already skin colored underneath) and boots. Then I sculpted on a pair of pants and his toes. The cigar is a piece of plastic sprue. After that I painted on the eye scar and mutton chops. The bruise on his chest is painted on with blue and black pastel chalk. Well, that's it for the set, (there's a group shot below) but there just might be a Build-a-Figure later to come... Hope you liked em'! ![]() |

I had to make this guy (and a few others) REALLY fast, as I spent most of my time on Frankenstein and Van Helsing.
And thanks for the comment about the cigar. But how could I have made this guy without it?'
but maybe adding a bit of sculpted hair at the back or using some long wrestler hair would make this even better - XMC sabertooth has very good hair for Hyde face is a good base too
I love the addition of the Cigar - really good touch!!!
Hydes got a bigger top half in the film tho and a very pronounced head with a big chin
maybe a bit more sculpt on the brows and bottom lip would give him more a neanderthal appearance
but all in all I like this more than the Dracula one - great job!
