Cassie Lang is the daughter of the second Ant-Man, Scott Lang. After the death of her father, she decided to follow in his footsteps as a costumed adventurer, using the Pym Particles to change her height. She then joined the Young Avengers.
The base for this figure is the now standard movie Invisible Woman. I picked up the figure a long time ago, and the search was on for the right head, since I didn't want to sculpt anything. After looking for over a year (!), I decided to experiment. Since her ponytail is loosely tied, I thought I might be able to make it with the existing head. I cut a bunch of strips out of the hair, and glued the existing pieces together. I put some more hair in front, and used a Human Torch flame accessory for the bottom part of the ponytail. Rubber, fodder pieces,and speaker wire were used for costume details. The belt pouches were from Green Goblin. One final note, this was the clear version of Invisible Woman, which meant I had to paint the face. I hate painting flesh on faces! I'm never happy with the paint consistency. In the end, it didn't turn out too bad, though.
