Batman DC New 52 (DC Universe) Custom Action Figure
I love the design of the new DC Direct DC New 52 Justice League figures, but as usual they are very stiff. On the other hand, the DC All Stars New 52 Batman was very bland. So I went for a hybrid of the 2. This is the DCAS Bats body with the DCD Bats head, belt, knee pads, and cape and cowl. I also added 3 batarangs in between the fingers of his right hand. Some of the coolest and most iconic images of Batman recently have been with him holding these and the wiping them at someone face! I’m surprised Mattel has never done this. Finished him with a custom repaint with details to his armor. See you in the future! AC  Please wait... |

Kinda sad that I see this sort of thing a lot, and I do it a lot too!
DCUC = nice articulation, good bodytype
DC Direct = better sculpts, better paints, unique, for the most part, better heads
The sad part is no one company is doing all the parts right, so I keep using DC Direct for better heads, hands, capes, details and such, and transplanting them onto DCUC or ML bodies.
Even the body here looks better with a little care you gave it. Really nice work.
