Congrats on constructing your custom.

However, time for some tough love: it looks horrible. Don't worry, that's how people learn.

I don't know what you paint it with (it looks like...plaster?), but here's what you need to do with a custom to make it effective:

Buy a sanding sponge. Typically they have a rough side, and a smooth side. You can also buy a rough one, and use epoxy-gel (from Walmart or a dollar store) to attach a smoother grade of sandpaper over top of it. Seriously, this is indispensable stuff. Sanding removes rough surfaces.

Buy good paint. There's a ton of paint brands that customizers use, so do your internet research, and pick one to get started with. I use Vallejo acrylics, Tamiya, Mr. Hobby, and others. Each brand has it's own strengths.

Buy a THINNER for your paint. You can use water, but that tends to just reduce cohesion, and leads to watery paint. Particularly if you have hard water - it can lead to some ugly finishes once it dries. Usually it's called "Airbrush thinner" for acrylics - even though you can use a drop or two on your pallet + brush. For non-acrylics paints (Tamiya, enamel paints, and lacquer based paints), you need a proper thinner that's formulated to work with your paint brand. It lets the paint flow, and as it evaporates, the finish of the cured paint looks nice.

Buy a sealant. This can be a brush-on matte (or glossy) varnish by Citadel (Warhammer paints), Vallejo, or other brands. There's also an excellent one that works with most paints (but not over top of Krylon) called "Mr. Spray" that can be found online. There's also Citadel matte spray that's available from most Warhammer shops.
Sealants protect the paint job, and improve how light reflects off a figure. There's even sprays by "Mr. Spray" that let you spray metal, changing the surface so you can paint on top of metal and not have it chip off.

There'a a lot of tutorials out there (and a lot non-customizing ones on YouTube about painting in general). Educate yourself, and improve your skills. Customizing is a rewarding hobby (and for some a business / business-hobby). You clearly have some talent (that metal 'Dino Vehicon' custom looks pretty fantastic) - just focus on areas where your skills are weaker, and seek to improve them.
