This creature, named the Pale Man, had an entire buffet table of delicious food in front of him, yet preferred the tender morsel of small children. The food placed on the table was for the sole purpose of luring the children to eat from it, thus waking the monster from slumber. Once awake, it would pursue the children in a horrific manner, by seeing with eyeballs on the palm of its hands. The children would scatter, terrified, but of course to no avail. Once inside its lair, they can only run in circles, unless they were clever enough to bring a piece of chalk, in which to draw an exit door with! Sculpt work was done on the head and throughout the body to make the baggy skin. Tiny beads were used for the eyeballs on its palms, resculpted eyelids over top. In the movie, the way this creature lumbered around almost resembled an affectionate uncle play-pretending to be a monster. Without proper sight, it relied on the eyes on its hands to find its victim. Although scary in appearance, it was half-blind and uncoordinated, so a swift kick to the bagpipes oughta shut down this bogeyman! Sometimes it's difficult to translate the...horror of a particular monster, especially when they're not wearing any pants! That's why frightening music in a movie often builds up 8o% of the scare. So cue the creepy music and "catch" you later. Thanks for checking it out! ![]() |
