DAMN! I see someone else beat me to it. Here's my version of Zer0 from Borderlands 2!!! I love this game and this character!
I started off with a ROML Bucky Cap figure. I removed the belt and cut off the boot cuffs. I sculpted his shoulder, upper arm, lower arm armors; his chest and stomach; belt & side pockets; kneepads; and his 2 toed boots with buckles etc. Unfortunately I didn't attempt the 3 fingered gloves as I wasn't sure how to do so. He has 2 straps in the back (which I forgot to take a pic of) one holds his sniper rifle (or any gun) and the other for his sword (didn't make one yet) based painted the figure black and painted appropriate areas different greys (at first I wanted to paint him with one of the unique skins *Pandoracorn wink wink* but figured I just stick with his traditional skin with the red zero on his chest.) Painted red zero on his chest.
The most time consuming and difficult part of the custom was creating his heads. I plan on "trying" to complete the rest of his heads as seen in games, but the following heads were what I could come up with in time for the end of the contest. The base heads consisted of spare Bucky cap/Dugan/Drax fodder I had. the first head created is his traditional head Zer0 sculpted in several parts to complete the look. His second head (of which I haven't finished painting because it have taken too long considering all the different shades of grey it would consist off) is the Crafty head which I slabbed apoxie on, shaped into a cube and sanded smooth. 3rd is the Nihilism head (also known as Slender Man) apoxied over a head to make completely smooth and sculpted a collar at the base of the neck. 4th is the Arachn1d head, same deal of sculpting over the head smooth but elongating it just a bit in the front and back and finally adding sculpted tips at the end to make a crown shape facing back. 5th head, G4l4h4d, sculpted over the head for smooth look, added a fin from DCUC Shark on the top and finally sculpted the helmets cover and usig the end of 2 paint brushes to make the indents and making tiny cuts along the edge with a sculpting knife. The 6th head, Unreality, is another smoothed over sculpted head with some circle discs sculpted on top and indented. The 7th head is Alienati0n. created similarly to the first head but adding an alien face to him. there are probably 20 more heads to make, not sure because Gearbox keeps adding DLC and i can't keep up :( lol. all heads painted!!!! end! hope you enjoy!
