I hadn't seen any Alternator customs based on the new TF movie, and since Barricade was my favorite movie character and since I had a knock-off, I thought I'd give it a crack. The Grimlock knock off had a unique head mold, which I tried to paint to loosely represent the movie character, with gold mouth, red eyes, and silver accents.

After complete disassembly, the body was air brush painted with acrylic black gloss and flat white for the doors. Seats and a few other accents were painted in dark gray, wheels painted flat back, and the fog lamps painted gold. Police letter stickers, car numbers, and the decepticon badges on the front fenders came from the Takara Masterpiece Starscream sticker sheet. Gold decepticon shoulder badges are from ReproLabels. All new paint was clear coated after sticker application.

Light bar came from a snap together Chevy Impala police car model, and the ramming bar was fabricated from various round plastic bits that held the Chevy model's twist-off pieces.
