A much needed figure to the ill-fated Battlestar line.
The head was from the Diamondselect BSG Boomer 2-pack. I repainted the whole face and molded bangs. The body was an "ops" female body from Diamondselect Stargate Atlantis line. I did a head swap, and then painted the suit orange-which took a couple processes (I seem to always have trouble with orange). Then painted the details onto the jumpsuit and added the belt accessory from a BSG flightsuit figure.

This looks great! Nice work all around. here's a tip for painting orange that works for me. I base coat in either light grey primer or white primer. Then I paint a layer or two of yellow. then the orange goes on. The yellow makes the orange stay orange,. Then you can put a brown wash on top of that to show folds, shadows, etc. Just an idea. Similarly, I also always undercoat my reds with a layer of orange. Nicely done!

I love the way she came out. I have a few of those bodies lying around so I might try one myself although I think you did a great sacrifice using a boomer head. Those are expensive but she came out looking like Cally. I want one.

Thanks- I was dying for a Cally...I actually traded the head of the Stargate girl for the Boomer head with a friend- he was making an Admiral Cain figure and that head worked better.
