Ok...Ok...I was a child of the 70's and grew up with Mego figures and as basic as they were by today's standards they will always have a special place in my heart. I even collected and loved the DC Retro line Mattel put out...well they pulled the plug on that line....so as a customizer I've been going through my parts bid and with a little time and effort I've been continuing my own collection. Today is my version Hawkman - on a Zica Toys base body (the best 1/9 scale body ever period) modified for wings...a Hawkman head from Public Enemies line...cut off from the beak down, with newly sculpted lower jaw..all custom painted. Add some sewn pants, boots (modified) and shorts from DR. Mego's store, and newly painted Zoloworld Skeleton shield and you have a Mego Hawkman that should have been!
