"Her essence is the sum of mens' agony and womens' futile tears. Her sword the bane of pleasantries humans hold so dear. Wherever there is suffering, she is sure to appear."

One fine day, a band of rogues burned a small village to the ground when it's inhabitants couldn't offer anything of value to appease them. The brutes rode-off leaving almost no living behind.

Soon after, Nightmare came across the wretched sight, not the first of many he had seen in the past few weeks of hunting the men responsible. He observed the carnage numbly then raced toward a sound of groaning. It was a man whose legs were trapped under a heavy flaming cart! He couldn't lift it, all he could do was grant a quicker death.

"Why...why is she...laughing?..." the man whispered and pointed. Nightmare looked around and saw nothing. "You're dying with no way to survive, just say the word..." he offered as he unsheathed his blade. The man nodded weakly, then nodded never again. Nightmare turned his gaze to where the dying man had indicated nearby before, there She stood, an armored shadow against the searing sunlight.

"What did you just do.", the shapely figure asked plainly.
"I showed him mercy exsists, even in a god-forsaken land as this. You must be some demon come to collect his bones, right?"

The figure cocked it's head slightly, quizzically, and with all the honesty in the world asked, "What is mercy?"

You're darn right I'm going to add to the story later!

Making progress on my WIPs, I love how this one turned-out.

-Recipe-
Head: Black Play-doh
Robes: Ringwraith
Armor: Galadriel
Pauldrons: Legolas
Base: Poison Ivy
Guantlets: Lady Death
Sword: Lady Death

This was pretty easy to make, just had to modify everything a little bit to get it to fit Ivy's body while retaining that shapely figure. This is one of those figures that looks better in darkness than light, not because it's bad quality, but because it looks out of place in the light. The armor is black with brushed-on antique copper, thanks Folk Art!

And I know, how did I get LD's static forearms on Ivy's articulated elbows, right? I used a computer screw and a lighter, hope that helps, hah. They still bend at the elbows AND the forearms can now turn! I'm going to change her legs for Batgirl's when I get another one since they are more poseable and aren't visible anyway. Also, I drilled a hidden hole in her back to use with flight-stands (I have her propped-up on the flashlight because Ivy is tough to stand).

Hello Dr Nightmare,
That's cool. That was you in the pic? Now I see after reading some of your comics lol...But yeah that's real clever how you make your own action figures. Someday I will try that..no not look under her dress but make my own action figure. I just need a good outfit and lots of . Thanks for sharing your work .

Lol, thanks John
(Oh, and Nightmare is kneeling to be knighted in that last pic, not trying to look up her skirt on purpose, the angle is kinda confusing I know. )

Well, I definitely could have done better on that last pic, but I don't have the right lights to light a scene that big yet, just one figure at a time is my limit

Thanks Greg, I miss having my name on the front-page too!
And the pics are dark at the bottom because I'm trying to hide the little container of apoxie I used to stand her on
