It's unbelievable to see what the toy industry does nowadays ...This figure has a nice design but came cast in a sort of Jolly Rancher kind of plastic that looks everything BUT metallic. So here I took the approach I used to do on cars when painting candy metallics. Applied one coat of silver metallic, then 2 more wet coats of clear red. The result INSTANT improvement! Then I detailed every arc reactor light, gave it some definition on the crevices, small scratches in the feet, chest and hands and voila...a decent Iron Man that has as much detail as his Marvel Universe counterpart.
