McF has been talkin' about a new Spawn movie well for over a decade now. He's even mentioned that an Oscar-winning actor is attached to the project. Don't need to get complicated with the script man, just send him back to hell in a Malebolgia sandwich and let Spawn cut loose - COMMANDO style!
Originally, this was a prototype McFarlane figure that never made it to the shelves. It was offered as a contest toy prize by the fellas over at Toyfare magazine. The sculpt work on it was mind-blowing but the overall color was a flat lifeless grey tone.
Decided to repaint, starting with a black base coat and drybrushed some greys. Added some silver/chrome accents (brushing lightly over with a cotton swab) for a pewter finish. Still kept it monochromatic, just wanted to give it more of a statuesque appearance. Also improved some of the articulation in the shoulder by replacing the peg and repaired the big gun to fit better on the back.
