This is my rendition of Clark donning the Super suit in the Fortress of Solitude. I love almost everything about Superman and enjoyed the show Smallville for most of its run, but absolutely loved the last season. So for my tribute I started with the Superboy prime for the slimmer torso. After taking of his solar armor I removed the forearms and lower legs at the knees and added Superman legs and forearms, and then painted to match the torso. I cast a series 1 Clark head because I like the spit curl, which looks like he did after save Lois in air force one. Last added Superman’s plastic cape because it looked more like the CGI one from the show. I used the traditional belt instead of the Superman Return’s logoed belt because the last shot of Superman in space faded to the comic image which sported the traditional look and it is the only close up we get of Tom as Superman. The S shield I cast from 52 Superman to have the raised look. The last pic has 52 Superman next to Smallville Superman for contrast. I am really happy with how this turned out and hope you all enjoy it also.
