Hello realmers, hope you're spending this wednesday.

Quinlan Vos is one of my favorite Jedi Masters, so to have an action figure based on this character is must (for me).

Unfortunately here in México sometimes is very difficult to get some action figures, the main reason is the companies (Hasbro, Mattel, Playmates, etc.) doesn't release all the series in all the countries so you just can't go to a store (Walmart, i.e.) and buy all the same action figures you could find in the same store in other country. In addition, stores like Target, Toys'R'us just doesn't have presence in México... it is sad :(.

So the way you have in my country to obtain some of those "rare" action figures is to go with small retailers in "specialized stores" but is so frustrating because their prices are over the clouds, i.e. think on a DCUC action figure which price is about $15 dlls. Well, the "specialized retailer" offers this in México for just $35 dlls... You understand me ?

Ok, enough catharsis lol... that's why I decided to create a Quinlan Vos action figure because the only two ones you could find in México (if you have luck enough) is the one from Vintage Collection and the one from Clone wars, which are pretty decent, actually the one from Clone Wars is my favorite one :).

NOW ON THE CUSTOM
___________________________
I used two Mattel WWE figures which names I just can't remember, the head came from one figure and the rest of the body came from the other.

I wanted a Quinlan Vos whose face shows a more serenity and I think I did get it, well, I feel very very satisfied.

The costume as you can see is very simple, for this I sculpted the "shirt", armor and pants, all using epoxic clay. Belts, pouches and straps were sculpted too.... Oh, I almost forget, part of the hair was sculpted too.

Acrilic paints, a matte sealer and there you have it.

Lightsaber was made from scratch using a little plastic stick then painted with acrilic paints and sealed too.

Hope you like it and THANK YOU for watching and most of all, thank you for (in case you did it) read my sad comments :D

TOTALLY AWESOME, brother! I admire and respect your resourcefulness in creating beautiful customs using the wrestling figures that are accessible to you, my friend. In a way, that's actually worked in your favor as it gives your customs a unique, life-like feel. This Jedi turned out perfect!
