Long before Sentai figuarts were even a thing I was craving a really well done collector worthy, Green ranger figure. Bandai America came out with the decent "super legends" series but it wasn't enough. As a kid, I was dissapointed the green ranger was never in the movie. I loved the designs and always wanted to see a Green ranger in the same style. Fastforward YEARS later, I made my own.

Base is an S.H figuarts Kamen rider Herces (I think thats right), which was a variant of the Kabuto body type that line was using at the time. I looked at the body and thought I would make a neat "movie styled" ranger suit.

I took the original head and sculpted a new helmet and the diamond on the chest and gold bands. The dragon sheild was taken from a Power rangers Dino thunder white ranger figure and modded to fit over the figuart. Then all I had to do was paint him.
The Dragon dagger was taken from another green ranger figure and the sword he is holding was "donated" by a mavel new goblin figure.

Went with a flat dark green, silver for the gloves, diamond, belt and boots, champane gold for all the gold accents and topped it off with a nice red jewel in his helmet.

I didnt paint the joints because every time I do, the paint ends up chipping and locking up. I also could figure out how to dismatle the figure to really get at them anyway.
