The guy comes with all kinds of detail and accessories. The vest was resculpted to give it the resident evil look. The head was in my extra fodder it's neo from the matrix. Some quake legs for that zombie bit off my legs now I can kick the sh1t out of them look. This guy comes with even a watch. Two guns steampunk style of curse. Plus Neptune steampunk a zombie lady and a dog all don't in this style.this guy is fully loaded and ready to take on zombie and kick a$$. If this guy dose well I will release my nemesis in the same style. Well all comments and questions are welcome as always . For more photos just check the eBay action.

While I understand the defensive nature of your reply to Patraw's views, I would have to agree with Patraw on the steampunk part even though we had a snippet quoted from Wikipedia. While steampunk as come to mean anything with a gear or metal slapped on it, that is not 'what' steampunk is for many of us. The point can be argued back and forth all day long about 'what' it is but, much like anything else that has 'evolved' over the years, it and it's meaning has been diluted. It is no one persons fault for this and it's just the progression of something that has become very popular. And so, pointed fingers, snark comments and arguing do nothing but divide us as a community. While we may not agree with it's status as 'steampunk' it doesn't mean you worked any more or less to make this figure.

I like the Chris custom--he looks pretty neat with mechanical detailing.

Your "Neptune" and "Zombie Dog" are Quake II Strogg Barracuda and Parasite pack-in figures from Resaurus' Quake II line (the Strogg Iron Maiden's upper torso/head on the stick, which you're identifying as a female zombie, also comes from the same series), and it doesn't appear that you did anything to customize the Barracuda or Parasite creatures at all. I think replacing the Parasite's head with a Doberman's head, or some other similar breed, would have done a lot to give it more of a RE vibe.

Regarding Steampunk: stylistically, Steampunk is usually represented by archaic Victorian-era technology and aesthetics (clockwork and steam engines for example). Quake II characters, which you've used parts from extensively here, come from a future time when interstellar travel and plasma/laser weapons are the norm (indeed, you've armed your Chris figure with futuristic Quake II Grenade Launcher and Hyberblaster guns). So, I'd have to say that I feel these customs are too high-tech in appearance for Steampunk, as such, I'd advise re-classifying them as Cyberpunk instead, which would be a more accurate label for the look that you've achieved.

Your concept it good, but I think it could have been implemented better.

First of all thank you for your input. I be leave a simple repaint is considerd a custom. As for the zombie girl on the stick. I took the figure apart and reprinted her so she dose not have a left arm or a body. As for the shark and the dog they are reprinted as well. It seems nothing is considerd steam punk to you guys on this site. From what I know steam punk is a style. Steampunk also refers to any of the artistic styles, clothing fashions, or subcultures, that have developed from the aesthetics of steampunk fiction, Victorian-era fiction, art nouveau design, and films from the mid-20th century.[2] Various modern utilitarian objects have been modded by individual artisans into a pseudo-Victorian mechanical "steampunk" style, and a number of visual and musical artists have been described as steampunk. Steampunk is ment to look like what because I did a superman people argued that it wasn't the style because it didn't have the the tech of steampunk. Now your saying that the tech that I'm using isn't steampunk. I suggest that that you read up on the style more. As they are classified correctly. Thank you
