The main reason I'd used the balloon necks for the sleeves are to retain articulation and keep the upper body from overbalancing the figure with sculpted sleeves. I used wedding balloons this time which are typically wider so I'll be sure to go back to standard sized ones in future. Check out my other Shadowcat figures to see how they have looked before.
I think you were going for a more "seamless" look and to give the figure a more cloth-like feel around the arms.
Just a bit more fine tuning and this would be awesome. I guess your next custom with this technique will benefit from this experience
