This version of Ursa Major is from the Exiles comics. Heather Hudson's Earth where the Soviet Union still stands. Alpha Flight tries to take out the Soviets as they attempt to save Russia. This figure was dismantled and prepped. Sculpting was 90% original plastic with some texture added with epoxy sculpt. The head is on a series of magnets and was modded for more articulation than the original lever that opened the mouth. Took me 2 years of scouring to find that bear head. Elusive little thing. Thanks man! The head is from a discontinued Lontic Wild Park Grizzly Rescue Playset. It took me years to track one down. I actually saw the playset without the bear at auction. So, I contacted the seller and turns out he didn't list the bear because the head broke at the neck. Perfect for me. If you happen to find any extras out there, LMK.
I would love to see that man! It was really an underrated comic! It would be cool to see them all made in your style! I had plans to make Mikhail Ursus to accompany him... Things just got kinda crazy for a while. If I ever get another good base and head I'll do both versions.
