This is my 5th custom toy, Shredder in his 80s cartoon version. It's based on the recipe by TurtlesinTime (2009).
First I applied epoxy clay on the torso to make the upper part of the shirt, and on the face plate to make it round. I painted the blue parts with acrylic paint to make them grey, but then I looked at the Shredder images on the cartoon series and decided to apply epoxy clay on the lower plate of the helmet and painted again. Then I took off the armor pieces from the arms and legs and sanded off the purple straps to make the metal straps with epoxy clay and then glued the armor pieces in place again.
I glued the legs in the only position that keeps the figure on foot and then made the lower part of the shirt with epoxy clay and painted it.
I painted the eyes with white acrylic paint and black drawing pen. Then I covered the figure with glaze to protect the paint from impacts and scratches.
Finally I made the cape with purple fabric.
