Something a little different from me today, here we have The Icon Sting as he appeared in the attitude era of World Championship Wrestling. Also known as the crow Sting this guy was tons of fun to work on and he really opened my eyes to just how much an impact Steve Borden has had on professional wrestling despite never stepping into a WWE ring. I think this little snipit from Wikipedia sums him up perfectly:

He has held 21 total championships between WCW and TNA, and is the only man to hold the NWA, WCW, and TNA World Titles in his career. Sting has headlined many major pay-per-views since the late 1980s.

Anyhoo, enough of me gushing about a man in spandex, here's the recipe I used for Sting.

Head = LOTR Aragorn gave him a shave and resculpted his jaw.

Ears = Grafted on from a Mat Hardy figure.

Hair = Elite Undertaker, sculpt to blend.

Upper body = Sculpted T-shirt over the Christian bare chest.

Hands = Elite Undertaker

Legs = Christian with sculpted details on thighs and knees.

Crotch = Christian with sculpted detail.

Feet = Christian with sculpted detail.

Painted and sealed with games workshop products and loctite brush on superglue.

The Scorpion on his chest was a real pain to paint and took over 2 hours alone.I think it was worth it though. The third picture shows what would undoubtedly happen if he were to ever join the WWE. Thanks for having a glance and hope you enjoy. Till next time...........
