Hello. This is my custom Dire Wraith Hellhound! The foot soldiers of the Dire Wraiths, the sworn enemies of ROM Greatest of the Spaceknights! He was made using a ML Nightcrawler base figure. The previous costume details, tail, and the head were removed. The Wraith head is sculpted from scratch, with random fodder pieces glued in as teeth. The hood is from a ML Moonknight and the "scarf" type cloth is from an ML Bishop. The base figure was missing some fingers and toes so I sculpted those and added claws at the tips. Then the entire figure was hand painted. At first I thought,"he could be better" but I really wanted to emulate the look these guys have in the books, and not just do my interpretation of what they "could" look like...if that makes any sense. I am a huge ROM fan and I'm really glad to add a Dire Wraith to my collection. I hope you guys dig him too! Thanks for looking and please feel free to comment!
