I've wanted to make this guy for a while now. I fixed up Bloodshot and got on something of a brief Valiant kick and made Rai right afterwards. I intended to do more, but got sidelined. But, this week while trying to work on figures, my dremel decided to die. So, I had to make a quick shift and get real creative. With that, I decided to jump back on Solar. And I had a Daredevil body that I had already dremeled out for another custom that never took off, so I was good to go. A straight repaint, attached head, and carefully applied emblem, this guy was an easy fill in for the week. And I'm glad to finally have him done. I'd go into his history, but it's a bit complex and hard to break down and tell quick, but it is pretty cool. He's been re-envisioned by each publisher that has had him, but I do like Valiant's approach to the character. Definitely worth checking out.
