I picked up a Stargate Vala Mal Doran figure on clearance at Comic Con and thought she might make a pretty useful base figure. Pretty much the first thing that came to mind was the "Aviatrix" DLC skin for the 2013 Tomb Raider game. I wanted to make a figure based on Lara's default look in the game but was a little intimidated by the detail that would go into it, so I decided that the Aviatrix Lara would be good middle ground.

The head comes from a Resident Evil 5 Sheva Alomar, with completely re-sculpted hair (sculpted over twisty wire to get the ponytail). I dremelled off the earrings and repainted the skin tone. I decided to leave the headset on her, I didn't want to waste that nice detail by dremelling it off. I sculpted on the bandages, as well as her necklace. The holster is made from scratch, with a thin sheet of plastic and some twisty wires. The pistol is from the NECA Man or Machine Terminator figure. I also wrote "Croft" on the name tag, but it's hard to see and I don't think I did a great job with those tiny letters!
