Here is my TMNT Classic April O'Neil custom figure.

I got inspired by the custom made April made by grungethemovie some time ago and I decided I "need" her for my Classic Collection.

I remember when I was a kid I really wanted to have her figure but I was never ale to find her in the shop :/ when I finally got her I was very disappointed as April's figure doesn't not look that great...

When I saw that Play Mates is doing a reboot of Classic Turtles I was very exited and I was hoping to get more characters form the old school cartoon. With the 3rd wave announced and still no April I decided it is time to give this custom a shot.

I'm not gonna lie, it wasn't the easiest custom I made...

1st of all I wanted to keep as much articulation as possible and 2nd I wanted her to look as close as possible to her cartoon version.

The problem with April is that her design is slightly different in every episode o_O but in the end I went with "Turtle Tracks" design.

Ann O'Brien figure was good for scale and articulation but her head sculpt was useless, so I had to make her a completely new head. This took me about 3 days as ever time when head sculpt was ready I wasn't 100% happy. Version 4.0 and newly sculpted hair, was what I was looking for :)

Her entire body with all the details is sculpted and only the hands are from another figure (I'm not actually sure what figure but it is from Play Arts series)

Here is my Classic April O'Neil finished with all of the accessories:
-Microphone
-Video Camera
-Removable headset (80s style)
-Turtle Communicator attached to her belt
-Chanel 6 Bag
and 6 sets of exchangeable hands
