2002 Since the cool new Marvel Legends were so awesome, I thought I could take the ML1 Captain American body and build a Batman out of it. Seemed like a no-brainer. Body, arms, legs - Marvel Legends Series 1 Captain America Feet, ears - Zipline Batman Hands - random wrestler The fun part was doing my feet trick for the first time. Zipline Batman had great feet with a little Bat-symbol on the soles. I wanted to keep that, so took away all the parts from the Cap foot besides the 2 joints, and took the bottom of the Zipline Bats' foot and attached them. You can see the seam before it was sculpted over in the WIP pic below. I ended up doing this a lot. Then sculpt the Batman cowl on top of the Cap head, sculpt the gloves and boots, cut the wrestler's hands to fit into the wrist sockets, paint, cut the bat symbol for the chest out of sign vinyl, and re-use the cape from the previous Batman custom. Had the right size and build for my small but growing collection. ![]() |

Windblock, I had this custom years ago on Raving Toy Maniac, and under the name Mat Planet, although that was an error because I wanted to be listed as my username StrangePlanet. That part of the site isn't there anymore but they kindly hosted my stuff for years. And thanks, that's huge compliment. And don't worry, I have some really neat never before seen new customs waiting to post here.
