When the Toys R Us X-Men (X-Factor) 5-Pack was released, I was excited about seeing the classic X-Factor (minus Beast, unfortunately) in figure form, but not a huge fan of the colors of the character's costumes. My favorite look for Cyclops of that era was the blue and white. I was inspired to do this custom after finding an old early 90's Toy Biz version of the character (the one with light up eyes. The figure comes with three heads to represent his different looks in this outfit He uses the "Jim Lee" era Marvel Universe Cyclops head (left over from my Gambit custom) for the exposed hair look, and two 2-Pack Cyclops heads for his "capped"/covered cowl look, with one having an attached "optic blast"! His body is from the 5-Pack Cyclops, and for his legs, I decided to "upgrade". While the default Cyclops cuffed boot legs are passable, I prefer the MU Hawkeye legs more. They're longer, better sculpted, and have extra articulation, so that's what I went with.
