HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to the X-MEN!

Our favorite Mutants are turning 50! So to celebrate, I'm going to be revealing some X-Men customs that have been in the works for the past 2-3 years.

First Up: CYCLOPS, Blue Strike Force Leader

This of course is the famous design by Jim Lee premiering in X-MEN vol.2 #1 waaaaaay back in 1991. Cyclops wore this uniform for about 10 years in the comics and also wore it in the animated series on FOX Kids! (Which I still watch every now and then btw). Jim Lee drew Cyclops pretty darn muscular back then so I wanted to represent that as best as I could.

RECIPE:

Head: Cyclops from the X-Men Classics line from Toy Biz
Body: DCUC Aquaman in the blue camo suit
Fodder pieces were used for the shoulder straps along with a DCUC Batman belt.
the arm bands, thigh huggers, and calf huggers were all sculpted.
He was finished off with a paint job using testors paints.

The stand is just a repainted stand from the X-Men Legends Boxset from Toy Biz.
