Mark Bagley Style Spider-Man (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:53329
Name:Mark Bagley Style Spider-Man
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Shinobitron
Date Added:September 3, 2013
Base Figure:Hasbro Ultimate Spidey
Height:6.00 inches
Articulation:27 points
I picked up the super-poseable Ultimate Spider-Man figure about a week ago cause it was on sale and really grew to like it, especially since a new head made it essentially a Mark Bagley Styled Spidey. I bought an extra Toybiz Bagley Spidey a couple years ago and kept waiting to find the right body to put it on and this to me was the one that would work. I'm not sure if anyone has done this yet, but if you have then props to you.

Head: Toybiz Spidey
Base: Hasbro Spidey
Web-Line: Covered Wire
Web-Shield: Morales Spidey
Web-Cocoon: Container & LOTS of hot glue

Dremmeled the head to fit, light sanding, then acetoned, and finally washed the body for paint apps. Given multiple Testors black wash to bring out the details and now almost has a comic style feel to it and did the rest of the detailing, so a full repaint and same can be said on the shield and cocoon.

As Always Guys/Gals, Thanks for looking!

What about the sidestripes on Spidey's arms? They should be present except in the Ultimate spider-man tv-series or on the new Ock-Spidey. Bagley doesn't do the series, and Ock-Spidey's costume looks different.
Funny that I'm the only one who cares enough to mention this. But if you reference Bagley specifically, I think you should stick to the details.

Hey, if you're going to be such a stickler for details, you should also note that the head isn't truly representative of Bagley's style, but more like early McFarlane, before he started elongating Spidey's head/jaw (see TASM #301). It's funny you didn't catch that.

It's a beautiful custom, and to Shinobitron, it resembles Bagley's style...and that's all that really matters.

@ THWIP71: I noticed alright. I just thought picking on ONE detail was enough for ONE post, so it wouldn't look like a absolutely loathe the figure.

That figure looks pretty slick. I think the web cocoon is my favorite of this custom. Looks more like something my favorite Spiderman artist would have drawn
