It's time for the third entry in my X-Men 50th Anniversary Uncanny Legends series.

This time I bring you MORPH from the X-Men Animated Series.

When the 90's cartoon first premiered on Halloween 1992 (yes I remember that)the only X-Men history I knew was from the old Marvel Universe trading cards. I think at that time only the 1st (maybe 2nd) series of cards had been released. So when we were introduced to MORPH in the animated series premiere I had no idea who he was. I thought he was completely made up for the show. Then in the Second episode Morph was seemingly killed by a sentinel! WHAAAAA?????? This show just got serious I thought, lol!

After that, I found out that Morph was based on a character from the 60's called Changeling. He too was killed in the comics. Later a version of Morph popped up in the Age of Apocalypse. That's another long story. In the second Season premiere, Morph was brought back and was evil!!! WHAAAA????? Turns out he was being controlled by Mr. Sinister. Eventually Morph returns to the side of good. Very cool story telling.

Recipe:
Hero Morph Head: Modified 2pack Mr. Fantastic cast
Evil Morph Head: Modified Bullseye cast
Body: Marvel Legends 2 pack Wolverine
Jacket: Movie Cyclops
Arms: Xorn
Hands: 2 pack Forge??

Of course you can mix and match heads for morphing action.

I hope y'all enjoy! Thanks for looking!

Awesome, I love the interchangeable heads. I remember the original debut, too, I was like 12 or 13 and had been heavy into Marvel comics since the mid to late eighties. I was psyched to see an x-men cartoon, and loved the Batman cartoon that came out at the same time, even though I didn't read much DC as a kid. Now that comics are main-stream, with the movies and all, it feels less like a club, like it did growing up. Ah nostalgia Great work on this one!
