Hello all, So I've been a really busy bee, staying up late after my kids are out, working on a lot of work for folks and for other things. Many things are coming soon for my friends here on the realm to see. Thanks so much to all of you for all your honest feedback and friendship!! You've all helped me to continue to evolve in this artform! Here's the first in my Arkham Origins series: the Batman. He started as a new 52 Bats. I used an older DCUC Batman head--for the taller ears. Next, I sculpted his armor--all over the figure: Chest, arms, guantlets, thighs, stomach, and boots. I used an Iron Man movie figure's shoulder pads for the knee pads. The sculpt on the legs was heavy, but the armor Batman has in the promo pics for the game looks very piece mail and bulky. It makes sense to me that starting out, he wouldn't have such refined gear and tactics. Wired cloth cape, and done! Enjoy and critiques are always welcome! -Fitz ![]() |

I'm so blown away by how people can alter and sculpt some figures so much, and so well, yet they still retain their articulation. You knocked this out of the park, fitz! Your DC customs are an inspiration. Hopefully, one day I can work up the confidence to try some sculpt work like this.
