Ever since I read the Exiles series, I've been a big fan of Mimic. I always loved his power set prior to that, but never found myself fond of how he was portrayed. Exiles showed that this guy could be a team leading member of the X-Men, but unfortunately he has failed to get great treatment in the regular Marvel Universe. He did end up being a member of both variations of the Dark X-Men, however. First one being led by Emma Frost, and the second by Mystique. I believe that's where this design comes from, if I recall correctly. I actually endeavored once before to make a Mimic custom. Back when I first started customizing. I wish I still had it. It would have been an interesting before and after shot. It came out horribly. This time around, I left out the Colossus powers and it seemed to help quite a bit. Instead I left him with his only obvious powers being Wolverines claws and Angel's wings. Though, thinking about it now, I probably should have chosen bone claw hands. That would have made more sense.
