So I'm in Wal-Mart looking for fodder when out of the corner my eye, I see the new 25th anniversary Destro. I snatch it up and make a mad dash over to the grocery side to show wolfgang_blaine (who is also a member of this site and you need check him out some time). We both get giddy as school girls at a free manicure salon and I tell him to hurry and get done so I can go home and hang this puppy up in HQ2*.

Any way we sat and looked at the old 1982 Destro I owned and compared the two. The idea then occurred to wolfgane_blaine that we make a custom. So I said,"Your on!" and we got to working on it right away. After hours of searching for a suitable host we settled on my ONLY Marvel Legends series 10 Mr. Sinister (sadness). We then set out in search for props that possessed the characteristics of Destro.

After several days of cutting, sanding, molding, and gluing fingers together.
Behold... DESTRO!

Recipe:
Head: Sanded and repaint,
collar cut from Dr. Strange cape,
ascot made from clay.
Shoulders: Cape made up of half of Dr.
Strange cape with scrap strap and
clay buckle. Shoulder pad made out of
generic claws and an old G.I. Joe
stand heat molded to fit.
Body: Repaint, chest plate from Task Master,
boot cuff made from clay,
band on right leg made from scrap,
generic ninja shin guard on right leg.
Belt from Dr. Von Struker.
Gauntlets: Constructed from Batman Forever Robin's
shin guards.
Weapons: Generic sword with cut Batman shoulder
pad to make the hilt basket. Sheath made
of Task Master sheath cut and heat molded
to fit, chain added to hang from belt.
Revolver from generic cop, holster from
Deadpool.
