The run up to issue 500 of Fantastic Four featured one of my favourite stories ever, "Unthinkable."

Doctor Doom, regretting the years he's wasted pitting his technological terrors against Reed Richards decides to defeat the Fantastic Four using means they find unthinkable. Black magic. Offering the life of his childhood love, Valeria, to a cabal of nether-demons, Victor fashions his true love's flesh into a mystical suit of armour granting him supreme levels of dark power.


I re-interpreted the art from the comic in a grisly manner for this figure, and tried my hand at making a cloth cape for him. Inspired by the awesome work that SpawnSauce and WhiskeyTango do, I wanted to make cape that would allow him to sit on a throne, and to also hold a pose. I added wire in the seams of the cape which I think lets it hold some cool poses.
