Hercules (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:54815
Name:Hercules
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Green Skin
Date Added:October 18, 2013
Base Figure:Savage Dragon
Height:6.50 inches
Herc is made from a Savage Dragon body and legs from the ML Hercules. I used aves to make his arm band, belt and the little lion emblem. The skirt and the sash are made from cloth and plastic cording. The head is taken from a Hyperion with a beard and headband sculpted on. His chest hair was done by drawing in flow lines with a small paint brush and applying some brown flock to give it some texture.

I never really cared for his club in the comic, so I made him a different one out of a Conan Axe handle, Aves, and plastic gems. Also his ankles were modified into the new style Marvel Legend ones.

cheers

Wow that is realy amazing, and while its construction is superb, I think the bold use of paint and its simple striking application is what really sells it.

This dwarfs the Hasbro Hercules in every category. The Hyperion head is an ingenious idea and the execution is tremendous.

Thanks man! Yeah that factory Herc was just all around bad, the smile on his face was the worst. I couldn't get any good poses out of him without him looking like someones creepy uncle.
