It all started with this guy loosecollector's custom figure of Invincible. I looked at it for days saying "I wish I had this!" I know that commissioning him would be expensive. I also looked at other people's customs and quite frankly they were either border line alright to just eh that's sloppy. This is my brother and I first real custom. So we gave it a whirl. To tell you the truth I think ours is really up there when it comes to a custom of INVINCIBLE! I used a Scarlet Spider for the base body. I wanted to bullseye but the scarlet spider has more "chiseled" like sculpt that fits the comic more than the bullseye figure. For the head I used a Gambit Since I used the scarlet spider figure, he had a web slinging hand and I had to replace that so I used Pyro's right hand. Paints: For the most part we used Testors and Citadel Paints.I also used Testors spray paint. My brother is a better painter than me so I had him paint the details. Tips, or feedback for us beginners? Short list ver. of recipe: -Scarlet Spider (rocket raccoon wave) -Gambit -Pryo (right hand) -Testors and Citadel Paints -QuikSteel Plastic Repair epoxy. Pros IMO: I think the figure looks very much like a real released action figure. The paint apps are gorgeous for the most part. Every time I look at it I congratulate my brother on the painting. Gripes: Since this is our first custom there is a ton of paint rub which sucks...I have a dremel but not the right pieces to dremel away the dicks and stuff to fix that. So we just leave it to that one pose that you see in the pictures because it looks awesome like that. However, since I don't play with my action figures and just display them it isn't that much of a deal to me. Though my bro did an overall great paint job the paint looks a bit chunky in some areas. Other than that. We a confident in saying that we have one of the best custom Invincible out there. Tell me what you think. ![]() |

You should make one, it's pretty simple to make. the painting it was fun but hardest part to get right. I was struggling with making this a bloody invincible.
Thank you.
If you don't have a dremmel, or the right piece, you can use fine grain sand paper (takes a bit longer), I think.
