Oh. My. Gosh. This is possibly THE greatest figure I've ever seen. The face is...FLAWLESS! The body is incredible! This entire figure is just sheer perfection. I would pay TOP dollar for a figure of this quality! DEFINITELY becoming a fan. This is the only figure I've seen from you so far and I already love your work. I can't believe how perfect this is! When I make a Link(I plan to in the future) I will be taking many notes. I'll be using your pictures as a reference. I remember seeing this figure a few years ago and thought this is amazing, seeing it again, I feel the same! THE BEST LINK I'VE SEEN, I'd even say the best custom I've ever seen. Definitely my favorite!

My man Greg this figure of yours is really amazing, I'm truly impressed!
The face like everyone is saying is great, as well as, well... everything else!
Did you make the shield yourself too?
I'm a big fan of the Zelda games and this is a great representation of the character. Captures the right feel much better than that picture you posted, that ones face isn't at all Link!
Good job man!

I think you have ever right to. Their statue look like a creepy Micheal Jackson dressed up as Link.

Thank wonderwoman. I am glad I could be an inspiration.
The sculpting process was traumatizing but I survived. And to be honest it took too much time.
I am glad it takes the title of best Link hehehehe
I just wish I was more talented to make the best face possible.
But I've seen professional statues of Link that lack the Link feel in the face like
E3 promotion in 1997
I don't want to hate on it. Because its way more professionally finished than mine.

I love it, thats a beautiful take on the TP Link, this must have taken all of your free time and then some. This is ,I think, by far the best Link I have ever seen, and I like him better with brown hair also. I think you have a great mix of the animation and real world (a mix that I haven't seen done right on a Link until this one) captured in this figure. I don't know what else to say except you've inspired me to make my future customs as good as they can possibly be!

I recommend you try it once. then 10 more times.
I would spent hours on a head, just to rip it off.
You definatly need to get that animated feel.
then you can sand little by little with a nail file or anything.
and get that 6 sides of the face
the flat face, the flat side, the inbetweener, v chin
the file down the edges.
It took me 4 days and a total of 15 hours for an alright face, still not happy but you have to at least try
I recommend trying.

thanks guys. I am flattered
The chainmail btw I got from Lord of the Rings characters. I think I used Blue suit Aragorn last battle or something.
He had this great chainmail underhis long shirt. I ripped it off and with a dremel made it thin enough so it wouldn't look out of place , get me ?
But I couldn't do it for his little skirt thing, without making it too spread out. So I used my old jammers from swimming. hehehhhe
That helped the gluing process.

Wow this is good. I love seeing non-superhero customs. The one thing stopping me from making a TP Link is the chainmail under his skirt like thing. Do you remember where you got that from? Great work man, you're now officially one of my favorite customizers.
