The Joker's Gambit (Amalgam) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:56863
Name:The Joker's Gambit
Contest:Comic Fusion II
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Amalgam
Creator:Banner/HULK Inc.
Date Added:December 30, 2013
Base Figure:Gambit
Height:6.00 inches
He is known as the Ragin’ Cajun Clown Prince of Thieves. He’s a really unpredictable wild card of a criminal because he’s extremely clever, agile, and crazy. He calls himself “The Joker’s Gambit”.

He used to be part of a guild of thieves but was kicked out for being too insane. His weapons of choice are a staff and deck of playing cards. The staff is rigged with things that pop out at the push of a button like: squirting acid, laughing gas, electric shocks or other lethal surprises. His playing cards explode whenever he throws them at a target. And he really doesn’t play with a full deck; the cards he throws are always only Jokers.

This is one Cajun clown who thinks and acts like it’s time for Mardi Gras every day of the year.

Head – Street Fighter Adon with Gambit hair
Body – X-men Classics Gambit
Trench coat – Mattel Batman Legacy The Joker
Staff – Mattel Robin’s staff and Mattel Joker’s cane
Guest Stars - Longshot, Nightwing, Rogue, and Harley Quinn

This custom figure is an original concept that I created just for the Comic Fusion II contest. He is a combination of DC’s Joker and Marvel’s Gambit, so I decided to also combine their names. (There happens to be game with the same name which I didn’t know about before but it has no connection to comic books).

Feel free to comment on what you think of this unique playing card inspired fusion.

Thank you to all figure realmers who checked this out and voted.

Joker and Gambit aren't two characters that I'd probably ever associate with one another in my mind, even considering the playing card connection, but I'm glad that your thought processes led you in that direction! This is a really great concept and you totally delivered on the execution. I love that second-to-last picture of Rogue expressing her disgust while the Joker's Gambit gets dragged off by Harley Quinn.
