Hello Masters of the Universe fans and toy collectors! Here’s a great addition to the MOTU line. It’s a set of two that can be a perfect counterpart to He-Man and Battle Cat. I present to you Faker and Bogus Cat.

Faker’s bio is exactly how it is written from his packaging. While Bogus Cat is my own original creation that I wrote the bio for.


Faker
Evil Robot of Skeletor

Originally built by Man at Arms to cover for He-Man when Prince Adam is needed. Faker was abandoned in the royal junkyard after his first mission and salvaged by the evil Tri-Klops. At the request of Skeletor, Faker was reprogrammed to replace He-Man and convince the people of Eternia that He-Man had betrayed King Randor and turned to evil.

Bogus Cat
Fighting Robot Copycat

At the request of Skeletor, Tri-Klops built a mechanical beast named “Bogus Cat” to be the fighting robot tiger of Faker. Bogus Cat was designed to be a heartless robotic imitation of Battle Cat. This robot tiger fights alongside the evil forces of Skeletor carrying Faker into battle against He-Man, Battle Cat, and the other Masters of the Universe.


Recipe for both customs:

Faker is a Battle Armor Faker figure with an alternate robot face from a Mcfarlane Terminator figure. I really wanted him to also have his own big fighting cat like He-Man’s, so Bogus Cat is a MOTU Battle Cat figure with a slightly different look.

I repainted it so that it would have colors similar to Faker’s. I also added a picture under it’s belly of the robotic components, just like the one Faker has on his chest but larger.

I displayed them both next to Skeletor and his big purple cat Panthor, and also against He-Man (in his Battle armor) with Battle Cat.
