There is no other more inseparable duo in Marvel comics than this couple with powers of darkness and light, Cloak and Dagger. They are my entry for the customs contest of Dynamic Duos.

Cloak was made from Kingdom Come Black Manta. His cloak was put together from the hood of Arkham Asylum Robin, capes from Kingdom Come Green Lantern and Despero. My goal was to make a Cloak figure that shows more of his body than his cloak. It’s the opposite of the Cloak figure made by Marvel Select, which is a great figure, but it only has a huge cloak and no body at all. The cloak that I made was painted with black and blue.

Dagger was made from Marvel Legends Moonstone. Dagger usually has open hands when she uses her powers, so I switched the closed ones with the open hands of Satanna. The figure was painted over with some white and flesh.

I painted silver on his circular amulet and gold on hers. Their neck ornaments also complement each other with oppositely shaped centers.

Like salt and pepper they stay together… and on this date, my wife and I celebrate our anniversary (we’re also a Dynamic Duo).

I'm happy to say that this pair won first place in the Dynamic Duos contest (first time I've won gold!). The contest had many other amazing custom duos by talented creators from all around the world. Thanks to the Figure Realm moderators for maintaining great contests.
