I absolutely love Kris Anka's recent costume designs for Uncanny X-Force, I'll be sad to see them replaced with camo in February. I was especially happy to see Psylocke get the first true overhaul of her look since the 90's.

I started with quite an amalgam of parts from Elektra, Mystique, and Jean Grey. I used RIT to dye all of the pieces black first (that weren't already), which worked out really well, even the bright yellow Jean's lower legs ended up a VERY dark brown. This means she's fully posable with little worry about paint rub. Her head is a Moonstone cast on which I sculpted epicanthic folds to try and give her more of a Japanese physiognomy with hair from the old ToyBiz Psylocke, resculpted in front to better suit this head. I glued Elektra's bandana ties to her hip and sculpted the knot and sash. A lot of careful painting, and she was done!

Painted a cast of some katana, then used clear twist-ties with hot glue to make her new psionic bow and arrow!
